The Self Service Portal provides a means for users to register and manage their devices from a special portal page located at https://<hostname>/device-registration, where <hostname> is the name of the A3 host. Several interfaces are provided to users:
The Self Service page displays a list of defined portals. Selection of an item
displays its details and makes it available for editing. Items can be deleted by clicking
or cloned for a new definition by clicking
. A new entry can be added by clicking
. Self service portals must be specified in the Self Service Policy setting on the
appropriate Configuration > Policies and Access Control > Connection Profiles
page.
The fields in a device registration are:

Profile Name | A unique name for the profile. | windows-sales |
Description | A further description of the profile. | Windows client will be assigned to sales |
Allowed Roles | A list of roles that are allowed to unregister devices using the self-service portal. If blank, all users are allowed to unregister their devices. | |
Role to Assign | One of the defined Roles to be assigned to the client. If nothing is specified, the role associated with the connection profile will be used. | Sales |
Access Duration to Assign | The registration time limit. | 1 day |
Allowed OS | A list of operating system indicating which operating systems the profile will match. Select entries by typing the first few letters of the operating system and then selecting from the choices offered. | MicrosoftApple MAC Pro |
