Menu path: Configuration > Advanced Access Configuration Overview > Billing Tiers.
The Billing Tiers page is used to define billing tiers used in external authentication sources (see Authentication Sources) including Authorize.net, Mirapay, PayPal, and Stripe.
The Billing Tiers
page displays a listing of all the defined tiers. A new tier can be used by clicking
. The fields in the form used for tier creation and
editing are:
Field | Usage | Example |
---|---|---|
Billing Tier | A unique name of the billing tier. | Short period |
Name | A short name for the tier. | Short |
Description | Extended description of the tier. | Expected usage of 1 hour or less |
Price | The amount that the user will be charged. The monetary units used are defined in the Billing Authentication Sources. | 0.99 |
Role | The target role of the devices that use this tier. | guest |
Access Duration | The amount of time that the user will be granted access to the network. | 24 hours |
Use Time Balance | If enabled, the access duration is computed based on real-time access duration rather than elapsed time. This requires a valid RADIUS accounting configuration. |
|
A subscription-based service is available with Stripe. Configure a billing tier for each subscription plan to be made available to the client. Configure a very long Access Duration in this case since Stripe will contact A3 when the subscription has expired.
