This form of authentication generates a password regularly that is mailed to an administrator. The administrator then distributes it to clients who use the password for authentication. The fields in a Password of the Day authentication source definition are:

| Authentication Rules | Indicates when the authentication is triggered and the actions to be performed when the authentication is satisfied. Authentication rules are covered in detail in Authentication Rules. | |
