Packet Capture (for IQ Engine APs)

ExtremeCloud IQ supports basic Packet Capture capabilities on all APs hosting IQ Engine OS. Additionally, AP5010/AP3000/AP3000X models hosting IQ Engine 10.6.4 or higher, and AP5020 models hosting IQ Engine 10.7.3 or higher, support Enhanced Packet Capture capabilities.

Go to Manage > Devices.
Select the check box for an AP model.
Select Utilities > Tools > Packet Capture to add a capture session for the selected AP.

The New Packet Capture window opens displaying the packet capture configuration settings available, which depend on the device selected.
