Use this task to manage your device licenses in ExtremeCloud IQ.

Mouse over , and then select Global Settings.

From the Administration
menu, select License
Management.

To change the number of devices
that you manage, select Contact
Sales.

If you have a NAC device that
does not appear in the NAC Entitlements table, onboard
the NAC device to ExtremeCloud IQ.
If the NAC device is compatible, it appears in the table automatically.

For NAC Entitlements,
to modify the percentage allocated for a NAC device, select the serial number of
the device and enter a new number in the Allocated %
column.

To save changes to NAC Entitlements, select
SAVE.

For Legacy
Entitlements only, to enter an entitlement key, select
Enter it
here, enter the entitlement key text string in the Enter Entitlement
Key field, select Submit, and
accept the end user license agreement.
Tip
Legacy Entitlement Keys are not compatible with the upcoming licensing
schema and new features. When Legacy Entitlement Keys are present and
your Extreme Portal Account is linked with the license pool with
licenses, you cannot perform the following actions:
- Add new devices.
- Change the managed state for a device from Unmanaged to
Managed.
Note
Perpetual Legacy Entitlement Keys are not compatible with
ExtremeCloud IQ.

To remove or deactivate a Legacy
Entitlement Key, select the corresponding check box and then select Remove/Deactivate.
If you deactivate an active key, you can add it back later.

For Legacy
Entitlements only, select DOWNLOAD to
download the Legacy Entitlements table into a CSV
file.
