Overview for AP Devices

Select the host name of an AP from the Devices table, and then go to Monitor > Monitoring > Overview. The Device Details panel displays the following information for that device:

At the top of the page, the Connection Chain diagram shows how the device connects to the internet and to ExtremeCloud‌ IQ. Hover over the diagram to see the node type, IP address, host name, and VLAN assignments for the AP.
The timeline below the connection diagram shows connected clients, CPU usage, and memory usage over time. You can customize the time period using the Time Range controls above the timeline, or by dragging inside the timeline. The chart lines are interactive—hover over a line to see more data.
To print or download timeline data in a variety of file formats, select .

Overview for Switch Devices

Select the host name of a switch from the Devices table, and then go to Monitor > Monitoring > Overview. The Device Details panel displays the following information for that device:

The timeline diagram shows counters for RX and TX, and the average CPU and memory usage over time. You can customize the time period using the Time Range controls above the timeline, or by dragging inside the timeline. The chart lines are interactive—hover over a line to see more data.

Wired Overview widgets and information for switches
- CPU Usage: Hover over the half-pie chart to display usage information.
- Memory: Hover over the half-pie chart to display memory usage.
- MAC Table Utilization: Hover over the half-pie chart to display MAC Table usage.
- Last Seen: Hover over to display the date and time at which the device was last online.
- Temperature: Displays the temperature at which the device is running. You can also hover over the to display the temperature.
- Power Supply Status: Hover over to display detailed information about power supply and PoE status.
- Fan Status: Hover over to display the status of the fans for each tray.
- IP Address: Displays the IP address of the device.
- MAC Address: Displays the MAC address of the device.
- Software Version: Displays the version of the device software.
- Model: Displays the model of the device.
- Serial #: Displays the serial number of the device.
- Make: Displays the make of the device.
- IQAgent Version: Displays the IQAgent software version.
