Before you can assign an sFlow receiver to a switch, you must first configure an
sFlow receiver as a common object. sFlow is not available for all Extreme switch
models. See Configure an sFlow Receiver.
Use the following steps to assign sFlow receivers that you have configured as common
objects to switches at the device level.

sFlow assignments made at the device
level override assignments made in the network policy device
template.

Go to and select the host name of a supported device.

The sFlow Receivers feature is available only for supported switches.

Select .

Select a receiver object from the Available sFlow
Receivers menu.

Enable sFlow Receiver.

Enable Interface Packet Sampling.

Move interfaces you want to
sample from the Available column to the
Selected Interfaces column using the arrows.

Enable Counter Polling.
-
Move interfaces you want polled
from the Available column to the Selected
Interfaces column.

Select Save.

Select Save sFlow Receivers.
