GDPR Audit Logs
View the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Audit Log on this window. Download GDPR log entries for any or all admin accounts.

The GDPR Audit Log displays information about download tasks performed on client data and deletion tasks performed on user, client, and admin data to support compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements for EU citizens. Use the log to track actions that are currently being processed, those that have completed, and those that have failed.
Note
The entries in this log do not indicate that ExtremeCloud IQ has downloaded data, only that it has prepared data for download. To complete the task, select the Download button (
) and save the file to your system.For more information about GDPR, see GDPR.
The table in this window displays the following information about tasks such as preparing client data for download and deleting user, client, and admin data:
Start: The time that the process to download or delete data started
End: The time when the process ended
Status: Whether the process is currently in progress, completed, or failed
Log ID: The ID number of the download or deletion process
Category: The type of task
MAC: The MAC address of the client
Admin: The name of the admin who initiated the data download or deletion
Description: A descriptive note about the status of the task
Download Client Data
After ExtremeCloud IQ completes its retrieval of client for download, the task status changes from Processing to Completed and shows a Download icon in the Status column: . To download the data, select and save the .csv file to a local drive. You can then send the data to the EU citizen who requested it.
After you select the button, the button color turns gray to indicate that it was already selecteded. Select a gray button to download a file again. If you reload the window, the buttons return to their normal color.
Note
To download data associated with real-time and historical users and administrators, use the download option on Manage> Users and admin_name > Global Settings > Audit Log. If you are logged in as an admin with full access (administrator role), you can download the entire audit log or just the GDPR entries for a specific admin, is important for compliance with GDPR. If administrators are EU citizens working in the EU, they have the right to access any PII (personally identifiable information) gathered about them. This includes personal information collected by ExtremeCloud IQ and contained in the audit log. If admin leaves their company and asks for this information, you can sort for the log entries pertaining to that admin and download and save them in a .csv (comma-separated values) file.
Note
You can also delete GDPR audit log entries for a specific admin. For information, see Account Management.To download individual admin GDPR audit log entries:
ExtremeCloud IQ generates a file in CSV format.
The file contains only GDPR log entries for the chosen admin.
To download the complete GDPR audit log, follow these steps but select All from the Admin Name drop-down list.
