ML Insights Client 360
View and sort client objects, including IoT clients. View historical and real-time client data.
Navigate using the tab icons. Hover over an icon to see the name of the tab.
Client 360
The Client 360 tab contains a Connected Clients table that shows either real time or historical data for the clients connected to your network.
Use the filter section to manage the data that is displayed in this window. When a filter is applied to the view, the filter icon changes from

The default Client 360 table shows real time client data. The IoT Client 360 table displays data about IoT clients.
Many of the columns in the tables are interactive. Hover over icons or text to see more details.
For all Client 360 views, select to refresh table data,
to download data in multiple formats, and
to customize the table columns displayed.
By default, ten clients are displayed per window. To change the number of clients displayed in a window, select a different number at the bottom left corner of the table. The clients list allows you to display and select many entries at a time, which can be useful for large-batch operations
In the Real Time view, select the host name for any client in the table to see a panel with detailed data for that client.
Client Details Dialog Box
The client name and VLAN appear at the top left of this dialog box. The following data is displayed for this client:
Left Side Panel: Displays current connection status details for this client.
Client Details Main Panel: The main section of the Client Details dialog box contains the following information:
Top-of-window tools: The Client Tools drop-down list lets you test the client connection by running a troubleshooting session or a DHCP test. Select to delete historical data for this client, or
to download a file containing a data log for this client). Select
to refresh the data (data is automatically refreshed hourly). Select X to close the dialog box.
Usage Timeline: The timeline displays usage rates, RSSI, and noise floor data for this client. By default, data is displayed for the last 24 hours, but you can customize the time range. Select at the to print or to download it in a variety of file formats. Hover over any section of the chart to see more details about a specific point in time.
Client Connectivity Health: In the connectivity health chart, select to show either connection health or alarms or both. Hover over any
or
icon for more details.
Connection Status Cards: The connection status cards below the Health chart update automatically to match the timeline charts settings.
Session Details: For any of the available views, expand the Session Details section to see additional information about each session.
Client Trail: The Client Trail table lists clients and includes a number of client details. In the trail, green, red, and gray dots indicate the following:
Client Events: Shows information for all events, association events, authentication events, or IP assignments. Select the check box to see event probes.
Network Usage: Lists the total amounts of data transmitted (Tx) and received (Rx) by the client during the specified time range. You can see usage by SSID or by User Profile.
Top 10 Apps: Usage data for the top ten applications appears beside the network usage table. This includes total data usage, and usage for each of the top ten applications. Select an application name to see more information about the application.
Maximum Client Capabilities: For 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz (or both), this area displays bandwidth usage, the number of spatial streams supported, the 802.x technology used, maximum transmit power, and the number of clients that are MU-MIMO-capable, and have Security, WMM, TPC, and HS2.0 support.
This view displays historical data for both Real Time and IoT views. Data is refreshed hourly. The timeline shows high and low periods for client usage.
Specify the amount of time displayed using the Time Range options above the table, or select inside the shaded interval window and drag it to the left or to the right. Many of the columns in the table are interactive. Hover over icons or text to see more details.
Below the client timeline, the total number of connected clients is displayed for the time period selected. This information updates automatically when the time interval in the timeline changes.
