About MAC Objects and MAC OUIs

You can add, modify, clone, and delete MAC objects or MAC OUIs (organizationally unique identifier)of vendors. For example, after a MAC object is assigned to a device, it can be grouped to a specific hive. In a MAC firewall policy rule, you can determine which traffic to permit or deny based on the source or destination MAC address. In QoS traffic classification and marking policies, you can prioritize traffic based on its OUI. See MAC Objects and MAC OUIs.

To modify an existing MAC object or MAC OUI, select the check box next to the object name and select . Modify the name, MAC address, or MAC OUI information, and then select Save:
