SNMP Traps

If configured, after excessive link flapping an SNMP trap notification is generated for link up or down events. The trap notification “etsysLinkFlapViolation” includes the following information regarding the port in violation of threshold:

• Interface index
• Interface name
• Operation status (up or down)
