Abstract

The Fabric Engine 9.1 Release introduces key upgrades, including Anycast IP Gateway for active-active routing with shortest path forwarding. Client visibility is improved with Node Alias for end-system discovery and DHCP Fingerprinting for device identification. Fabric enhancements include Flex UNI interface improvements and support for IS-IS external route preferences with tagging for external routes to prevent redistribution loops. ExtremeCloud SD-WAN integration adds Local Breakout for internet-destined traffic and VRF support across all models. Security updates include OCSP support for RADSec certificates, with added management options for SSH, SCP, and SFTP sessions. Additional improvements include dynamic ACL actions, extended MLT name lengths, and enhanced rate limiting for unknown unicast traffic.
