Configure OSPFv3 on a CLIP Interface
Configure the Open Shortest Path First Version 3 (OSPFv3) instance on circuitless IP (CLIP) interfaces for the Global Router or a specific Virtual Router Forwarding (VRF) instance.
Before you begin
- Ensure the CLIP interface exists.

To perform this procedure on a non-default VRF, you must first change the VRF instance. For information about how to use EDM for a non-default VRF, see Select and Launch a VRF Context View. All parameters might not be available in non-default VRFs.

You can also perform this configuration using Create an OSPF Interface on a CLIP.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, expand
- Select IPv6.
- Select the Circuitless IPv6 tab.
- Select a CLIP interface.
- Select OSPF.
- Select enabled.
- Select the ellipsis (...) to choose an area ID, and then select Ok.
- Select Apply.
