Configure Vendor Option Data Globally

Before you begin

Define the vendor option.

Perform this procedure to configure DHCP vendor option data global parameters.

Note

The switch follows inheritance and precedence rules for configured DHCP Server options. For more information, see DHCP Server.

Enter Global Configuration mode:

enable

configure terminal
Configure the vendor option data:

ip dhcp-server vendor-option-data <1-255> value WORD<0-128>

Configure the vendor option data:

Switch:1>enable
Switch:1#config t
Switch:1(config)#ip dhcp-server vendor-option-data 2 value 46
<cr>

The following table defines parameters for the ip dhcp-server vendor-option-data command.

`<1-255>`	Specifies the vendor ID.
value `WORD<0-128>`	Specifies a value to apply to this vendor option.
