You should only perform this procedure if you want to permanently remove the slot and
all of its configuration, or if you want to rearrange the same BPEs into different
slots.
To disassociate a bridge port extender (BPE) from a slot number
assignment:

If the slot module is configured, use the command unconfigure slot slot
.

unconfigure vpex
ports
port_list
slot.
The behavior of this command
is similar to removing slots within a chassis. After executing this command, the
BPE no longer occupies the slot number assignment.
