ip vrrp <1-255> action

Syntax

• default ip vrrp <1-255> action

• ip vrrp <1-255> action {none | preempt}

Command Parameters

<1-255>

Specifies a unique integer value that represents the virtual router ID. The virtual router acts as the default router for one or more assigned addresses.

{none|preempt}

Specifies the action of the routing interface:

• none—do not override the holddown timer

• preempt—override the holddown timer

Default

The default is none.
