Syntax

• default ipv6 vrrp <1-255> adver-int

• ipv6 vrrp <1-255> adver-int <1..40>

Command Parameters

<1-255>

Specifies a unique integer value that represents the virtual router ID. The virtual router acts as the default router for one or more assigned addresses.

<1..40>

Specifies the time interval (in seconds) between sending Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) advertisement messages. This value must be the same on all the participating routers.

Default

The default is 1 second.
