Cluster

Menu path: Configuration > System Configuration > Cluster.

The Cluster page displays the addresses and states of all cluster members. Clustering theory of operation is described in Clustering.

The fields on this page are:

Field Usage Example
Shared Key The key shared among the cluster members for use in the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP). 67987
Virtual Router Id The router ID used in VRRP for keepalive messages. 50
RADIUS authentication on management If enabled, RADIUS authentication requests will be processed on the management server - the current load balancer. If disabled, the management server proxies requests to other servers. This is useful if the load balancer cannot handle both tasks. The radiusd server must be restarted after a change to this setting. slider-off icon
Network Interfaces A list of the VIP interface addresses for the cluster interfaces.
Cluster Node List A list of all the members of the cluster, with their host name, IP address, type of Master or Member, and Status. The name of any cluster member can be edited by selecting it. Any non-master can be deleted by selecting the check box next to its name and pressing the delete icon button. Removal of a cluster node will cause a restart of all services and can take a few minutes to complete.

The SAVE and RESET buttons apply to the Shared Key and Virtual Router Id settings only.

Note

Note

When advised to restart any A3 service, the administrative interface for each cluster member must be used individually to perform the operation. Perform the operation on each member one at a time, waiting for the service(s) to completely restart.
