Backup and Restore

Menu path: Configuration > System Configuration> Main Configuration > Backup & Restore.

This page offers a means of saving the current A3 configuration for later restoration. There are several important restrictions associated with this feature:

  1. Backups may be performed on a cluster node or on a stand-alone server. Restores may only be performed on a single node cluster.
  2. Only configuration changes made through the A3 interface are backed up. All other modifications made through the Tools OverviewNetwork Tools, SSH interface to operating system files must be separately backed up.
  3. Unless otherwise stated in release notes, backups performed in one version of A3 are not compatible with any other version. Backup and restore is not required when upgrading A3.

The general format and usage of this page is discussed in General GUI Usage.

Backups are performed with the A3_Save_System_Backup button. A short description is associated with each backup.
