The state of the link between ELSM-enabled (peer) ports is known as the
link state. The link state can be one of the following:
- Ready—Indicates that the port is enabled but there is no physical link
- Active—Indicates that the port is enabled and the physical link is up
View the state of the link between the peer ports using
the commands:
show elsm
ports all | port_list
show ports {port_list}
information {detail}
If you use the show elsm ports all | port_list command, the Link State row displays link state information.
If you use the show ports {port_list} information command, the Link State column displays link state information.
If you use the show ports {port_list} information command and specify the detail option, the ELSM Link State row displays ELSM link state information. For more information, see ELSM Link States.
