DIT PACKAGE SUMMARY:
===========================================================================

This is an empty Device Integration Toolkit (DIT) package released to
certify the support for Business Element Manager v2.05 in Enterprise NMS
10.5 and above.

To enable support for Business Element Manager v2.05 in Enterprise NMS,
the previous version of the DIT for Business Element Manager (v1.0B) must
be installed.

NOTES FOR INSTALLATION:
===========================================================================

Since the new version of the Business Element Manager Application supports
Windows 2003, a Client running on Windows XP is no longer required. The
Business Element Manager Application and Enterprise NMS 10.5 can now
coexist on the same machine running Windows 2003 Server.

The DIT can now be used in the following configurations:
  - Stand-alone Windows 2003 server.
  - Client running on Windows 2003 or XP connected to a Server using
    Windows 2003 or Sun Solaris as an Operating System (the DIT must be
    installed on both Client and Server machines).
