At the command prompt type .\install.bat The installation script runs and copies various files (*.gif, *.mdb, *.dat, etc.) into the appropriate directories. Finally, the oitInstall (ditInstall in ENMS) utility is run to add Secure Router 1001 series support into Optivity NMS (Enterprise NMS). Automated install using OITAdmin/DITAdmin Tool on both UNIX and Windows -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Run oitadmin tool (ditadmin in ENMS) (packaged with NMS), at the command prompt by typing (on Unix and Windows) oitadmin (for ONMS) OR ditadmin (for ENMS) 2. When management IP address is higher than other configured IP addresses, Infocenter displays multiple instances of the same device (identical rows with same populated columns). This issue occurs only on Solaris platform. CR Q01202115 - Rediscovery doesn't work on ONMS 10.3.3 CR Q01336120 - Some OV panes don't update when data is cleared (IP Routing -> BGP -> General pane) CR Q01336129 - DIV: Empty columns for SR 1000 series and SR 3120 Serial No and HW Rev columns are empty for SR 1000 series and SR 3120. In the Module Information window most of the columns are empty (Serial No, HW Rev, Descr, Sys OID). CR Q01331475 - Auto Trap Registration for SR1000 series and SR 3120 CR Q01331446 - Syslog Registration for SR1000 series and SR 3120 CR Q01331451 - Platform files are copied read-only at ENMS install. If you are using Netview and you want this device to be also supported in that management system you must remove the read-only attribute for the following files before installing the DIT package: Drive_letter:\usr\ov\fields\c\baynetworks.fields Drive_letter:\usr\ov\symbols\c\baynetworks.symbols CR Q01340351 - Two traps don't correlate well for SR 1000 series and SR 3120 The clear trap "T_bundleUpTrap_v1" doesn't clear the the previous fault (generated by T_bundleUpTrap_v1)and a new fault is created. The same problem appears for the trap T_linkUpTrap_v1. ================================================================================ (c) 2006 Nortel Incorporated.
