DOWNLOADING To download the Solaris Contivity VPN Client package, click on its package link and save the package in a place convenient for you. UNPACKING THE DOWNLOAD The following unpacking instructions assume that the downloaded archive is residing on a Sparc Solaris host. If this is not true, then copy the file onto the Solaris host by any convenient means (e.g. FTP). - Make sure that the letter "Z" at the end of the archive's name is upper-case (performing the download from a Windows PC can make this lower-case). Change the case if necessary before proceeding. - Go to the directory containing the archive. Unpack the archive with the following command: zcat | tar xf - - The result will be a directory named sol_2.0. This directory contains the following: - A file named "readme.txt". Read this for further package installation instructions. - A file named "pkgadmin". This is used to upgrade the Netlock Contivity VPN Client. See the README file for more information. - A directory named "nleac" (Contivity VPN Client). This directory is the Solaris install package. See the README file for specific installation instructions.
