SSIDs
View, Add, Edit, Clone and delete SSIDs on this page.

An SSID is an alphanumeric string that identifies a set of authentication and encryption services that wireless clients and access points use when communicating with each other. ExtremeCloud IQ supports two types of SSIDs: guest access SSIDs and standard SSIDs. The SSID objects on this page can include both guest access and standard SSIDs. See Wireless Networks, Guest Access Wireless Network Settings, and Standard Wireless Network Settings.
The SSID table displays the following information about your network SSIDs:
Select ADD and complete the fields in the dialog box.
Select the SSID that you want to modify, select and make changes in the dialog box. Select Save. You can edit one SSID at a time.
Select the SSID you want to clone, select , rename the SSID and make the necessary changes. Select Save. You can clone one SSID at a time.
You can remove a single SSID or multiple SSIDs at the same time.
Note
You cannot remove an SSID if a network policy currently references it. You must first edit the network policy so that it does not reference the SSID that you want to remove.To remove a single SSID, select the check box for that SSID, and then select and confirm the deletion.
To remove multiple SSIDs at the same time, first select the check boxes for the SSIDs that you want to remove using one of the following multiselection methods:
Then select and confirm the deletion.
Note
