IP Objects and Host Names
View, add, sort, select, modify, clone, and delete IP (Internet protocol) objects and host names.
Navigate using the tab icons. Hover over an icon to see the name of the tab.
Configure > Common Objects > Basic > IP Objects/Host Names
In this window, you can view and manage IP Objects and Host Names by adding, modifying, or deleting them. IP Objects and Host Names can be used to identify devices that belong to the same hive. They can also identify RADIUS clients that belong to the same user profile. While you can manage objects in the Common Objects window, it is recommended that you configure objects in a network policy workflow. See IP Objects and Host Names.
The IP Objects and Host Names table displays the following information:
Select , and then select IP Address, Host Name, Network, IP Range, or Wildcard. In the New IP Object or Host Name window, enter the required information (for instance, 198.51.100.0 starting IP address and 255.255.255.0 netmask), select Save IP, Save Host Name, or Save Subnet. The new object appears in the IP Objects and Host Names table.
To modify a previously saved object or profile, select the check box for the profile you want to change, and select . Modify the object names in the window that is displayed. Select Save when you are done.
You can add a new object or profile by cloning an existing object or profile and then renaming it. Select the check box for the object or profile that you want to clone and then select . Enter the new name in the Save As field, and then select Clone.
To delete a single object, select the check box for that object or profile, and then select and confirm the deletion. To select multiple contiguous objects and profiles, select the check box in the header to the left of the window title, and then select
