Perform this procedure to configure custom vendor option data for the vendor class.

Note
The switch follows inheritance and precedence rules for configured DHCP Server options.
The switch process the DHCP options in the following order of precedence:
- host—Host configuration applies only to a specific host.
- DHCP subnet—DHCP subnet options apply to only those clients within the specified subnet.
- vendor class—Vendor class options apply to only those clients with a string that matches a specified vendor class identifier (VCI).
- global—Global options apply to all clients.
DHCP Server builds a cumulative configuration from all scopes but applies precedence rules in instances of conflict.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, expand .
- Select DHCP Server.
- Select the Vendor Class Custom Option tab.
- Select Insert.
- In ID, type the Vendor Class ID.
- In Code, type the DHCP code that you defined for the custom option.
- In Value, type the value to assign to the custom option.
- Select Insert.
