Add Static Entries to DHCP Snooping Binding Table

Use the following procedure to add devices with a specified MAC address to the DHCP Snooping binding table.

Procedure

Enter Global Configuration mode:

enable

configure terminal
Add the static entry to the DHCP Snooping binding table:

ip dhcp-snooping binding <1-4059> 0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00 ip {A.B.C.D} port {slot/port[sub-port]} [expiry <0-2147483646>]

Switch:1>enable
Switch:1#configure terminal
Switch:1(config)# ip dhcp-snooping binding 1 00-14-22-01-23-45 ip 10.10.10.01 port 1/2 expiry 2

The following table defines parameters for the ip dhcp-snooping binding command.

`<1-4059>`	Specifies the VLAN ID.
`0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00`	Specifies the MAC address of the DHCP client.
ip `{A.B.C.D}`	Specifies the IP address of the DHCP client.
port `{slot/port[/sub-port][-slot/port[/sub-port]][,...][slot/all][all]}`	Specifies the switch port to which the DHCP client connects.
expiry `<0-2147483646>`	Specifies the expiry time (in seconds) for the DHCP client.
