Syntax

dot1x timeout {quiet-period v_10_to_1000000} | {sense-period v_10_to_255} | {tx-period v_1_to_65535}

Parameters


Name	Description
quiet-period	Time in seconds before a MAC-address that failed authentication gets a new authentication chance.
sense-period	Time in seconds for sensing whether the port received EAP/EAPOL packets after the port was connected. Used to determine whether 802.1x is enabled on the client. Valid values are between 10 and 255 seconds. The default is 10 seconds.
tx-period	Time in seconds between EAPOL retransmissions.
