Open Issues

The following open issues for supported features are found in ExtremeXOS and Switch Engine 31.6.2.

Defect Number Description
ExtremeSwitching 5320 Series Switches
EXOS-30066 At line rate Netlogin traffic, the RADIUS response is dropped due to congestion in a front panel management port.
EXOS-30165 When WRED drop profiles are configured and TCP/Non-TCP traffic is sent, a few packet drops may be observed in the corresponding TCP/Non-TCP green traffic.

Workaround:

TCP and Non-TCP green traffic drop can be avoided or mitigated by configuring the reserved packet buffer of WRED-enabled queue to the maximum value by running the configure qosprofile <queue-profile> maxbuffer 10000 ports <port-no> command.

EXOS-30327 RADIUS packet drop occurs while sending line rate traffic for Netlogin MAC authentication.
ExtremeCloud IQ
EXOS-28382 ExtremeCloud IQAgent communication times out and the device disconnects from XIQ when Hping packets are sent.
