Lock Your Access Point

Before you begin

You will need the following items:
  • A Kensington security lock

Secure the access point from damage or theft.

Kensington Security Slot
Secure the AP5020AP5020 from damage or theft with the Kensington security slot. The slot is located next to the Console port.

Procedure

  1. Securely attach the free end of the Kensington lock cable near the AP.
  2. Insert the rectangular lock end into the Kensington security slot on the AP.
  3. Lock the Kensington lock.
