Onboard to ExtremeCloud IQ

Use this optional procedure to onboard the CE deployment to ExtremeCloud IQ if you want to provide cloud visibility to your deployment.

Before You Begin

You will need both the Serial Number and MAC address that you copied from Extreme Cloud IQ Controller.

Note

Internet connectivity is mandatory for cloud visibility.

Sign in to ExtremeCloud IQ.
Go to Manage > Devices.
Select (+) icon and select Quick Add Devices > Manage your devices directly from cloud.
Paste the CE Serial Number into the Serial Number box on ExtremeCloud IQ.
From the Device Make drop-down, select Controllers.
Paste the CE MAC address into the MAC Address box on ExtremeCloud.
Select Add Devices.
