Create an Administrator Account

Use this procedure to create a new Administrator account.
  1. Go to Administration > Accounts.
  2. Optionally, set the Password Expiry for all configured users. Enter a value in the range 0-730 (days), where 0 means user passwords never expire (default) and 730 means passwords expire 2 years from the date the user password was last set.
    Note

    Note

When the Password Expiry is set to zero (no expiry), any existing password history is purged and, although password rules are still enforced, there is no monitoring of password usage. When the Expiry is set to a non-zero value, the password history is monitored, preventing reuse of the same password for 10 consecutive password changes.
  3. Select Add, then configure the account parameters as described in Administrator Account Parameters.
