WPA3–Enterprise (192 Bits)

WPA3–Enterprise (192 Bits) offers better protection for sensitive data. ExtremeCloud IQ Controller treats 192-bit mode configuration like WPA3–Enterprise (802.1X/EAP), offering the same configuration options with some restrictions.

WPA3–Enterprise with 192-bit security restrictions include the following:

Is supported on the following Extreme AP models. Network assignment is restricted to profiles of supporting devices.
- Wi-Fi 7 APs — AP3020W, AP4020/X/FX, AP4060/X, AP5020, AP5022/FX/SD6, and AP5060D/U
- WiFi 6E APs — AP3000/X, AP5010, AP5050D/U
Is supported for External RADIUS implementations only. Local onboarding is not supported.
Does not support Client Bridge. Client bridge configuration will be supported in a future release.
Does not support Hotspot 2.0.
Does not support configuration of Fast Transition and Mobility Domain ID.
