Applications
View detailed information about any application running on your network. (ExtremeCloud IQ Pilot only.)

Status Cards
Status cards appear across the top of the Manage > Applications window. To expand or collapse the status cards, select or

The following status cards are for applications (AP only):
Connection Status: The connection status card shows the number of devices with active network connections.
Total Apps: This shows the total number of active network apps, including the most active app and the most active user.
Clients & Users: This shows the total number of active clients and users on your network.
Alarms: This shows the number of alarms with severity indicated by color: minor alarms (yellow), major alarms (amber) and critical alarms (rust).
Security: This shows the number of detected rogue APs and rogue clients.
The Applications Table
The Applications table displays information about the network applications active in your network.
Select the Top 20 or Top 100 applications to display. To sort a column, select inside the column header and then select the arrow.

Along with predefined sets of Layer 7 applications, ExtremeCloud IQ allows you to define sets of custom applications. For example, you could group all social networking or retail applications so that you can monitor them all at once. You can also feed multiple application sets through an SD-WAN route group to support application-based routing policies (see Routing Policy).
The table in this window displays all of the active applications in your network. You can filter this table by Kind (application or category), Type (host name, server IP address or port number), and Protocol (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, or UDP). Use the search field to search for a specific application. At the bottom of the table you can change the number of items displayed in the window, scroll through multiple windows, enter a window number, and then select Go.
