configure msrp maximum-strings max_streams

Description

This command configures the bandwidth mode as either cumulative or master-port only.

Syntax Description

maximum-strings Specifies the maximum allowed data streams advertising QoS specification using MSRP.
max_streams Specifies the allowed streams value. Range is 1 to 8192. (Default: 150). Actual streams created depends on HW resources.

Default

150.

Usage Guidelines

If a user attempts to configure a maximum stream limit that is lower than the number of currently registered streams, the command will be rejected with the following message:
Error: Configured maximum streams (200) cannot be lower than the number of streams (300) present.

Example

This CLI command configures the default maximum-steams of 150:

configure msrp maximum-streams 150
