Version 33.7.1 adds an on-demand rematch operation for Instant Port Profile (IPP), allowing matched devices to be re-evaluated against the current profile configuration.
Enhancement: Instant Port Profile matches connected devices to a profile device-type based on the best available information at the time of matching. Because matched devices remain associated with their original device-type even after switch state changes — such as a profile update adding new device-types, or a delayed LLDP neighborship that would have produced a better match than an initial MAC-learning match — the matched state can become inconsistent over time. The new run instant-port profile rematch command re-evaluates all currently matched devices and associates each with the most appropriate device-type based on current switch state.
