Note
For information on how to deploy a Universal Compute Platform cluster, see the following guides:Go to
to view the cluster deployment settings. The following information is provided:
Universal Compute Platform supports ExtremeCloud IQ as a distributed cloud application or Universal Container on-premise controller applications.

The number of nodes you configure here is directly related to the amount on CPU and memory you require. Universal Compute Platform supports a stand-alone mode and a full-cluster mode. Stand-alone mode requires only one defined node, but a cluster of applications can be housed on one, two, or three nodes depending on your resource requirements.
Note
When using an ExtremeCloud™ IQ engine, you must configure a cluster of three nodes. ExtremeCloud IQ is not supported in stand-alone mode, it requires three nodes, and it does not support engine types other than ExtremeCloud IQ.The cluster is created.
If a cluster previously existed, the cluster connections are reset. Then, you must reinstall the engines for each node in the cluster.
