Deploy an Application Image File

Before you can deploy a Docker application image file, you must upload the image file to Universal Compute Platform.

To deploy a Docker application image file, take the following steps:

  1. Go to Engines > Installation.
  2. Select the engine application image instance. For example, cx9000 #1.
Click to expand in new window
    CX9000 Engine Instance
    CX9000 Engine Instance
    The Deploy Engine dialog displays.
Click to expand in new window
    Deploy Engine Dialog

    The destination node is displayed.

  3. Select one or more virtual interfaces for the deployment. ExtremeWireless WiNG requires that you specify four ports: two for management traffic and two for network traffic.
  4. Select Deploy.

Note that the license is associated with the port used for deployment. If you need to reinstall, you must select the same ports.

To verify that the image file is successfully deployed, go to Dashboard > VMIs and check that the status is Running.
