Extreme L3 Service Plug-in within Neutron initiates Neutron API calls for network management. OpenStack Service in EFA translates the Neutron network management calls to appropriate tenant API calls and provisions the fabric with appropriate L3 networking constructs.
L3 Service plug-in creates a distributed VRF instance on the IP fabric that corresponds to the Neutron router. VRF instances are created on the Leaf and Border Leaf devices.
