You can upgrade EFA on TPVM (Third-Party
Virtual Machine) from the SLX device.
		Before you begin
The EFA tar file must be available on the

/efaboot
partition of the SLX device. You need root access to the device. If more than one EFA
			version is available in the
/efaboot directory, you are prompted to select a version during
			upgrade.
About this task
The upgrade process prompts you to select secure mode or standard mode. For more
information about these modes, see EFA Installation Modes.
The upgrade process backs up the EFA system, so that you can easily recover data if
the upgrade fails. For more information, see Recover from an Upgrade Failure.
