An update has been received from a non-confederation EBGP peer containing an AS_PATH with the initial segment a confederation segment. The most common cause of this is a peer which has failed to remove the confederation part of the AS_PATH when exporting outside its confederation. If the first segment in the AS_PATH is not of length 0, it is replaced with a segment of type QB_AS_PATH_SEQ containing the Peer's remote AS number. Otherwise the AS_PATH has been corrupted so the route is not added to the Adj-RIB-In.
This is an internal condition needing technical assistance. Contact technical support with the output of "show tech".
