Enables or disables the ExtremeXOS image integrity check feature.
integrity-check | Specifies configuring integrity check. |
image | Specifies checking the loaded ExtremeXOS image. |
on | Enables image integrity check feature. You are informed if the integrity check fails. |
off | Disables image integrity check feature (default). |
By default, ExtremeXOS image integrity check is disabled.
If the image integrity check is enabled, during bootup, the system checks the integrity of the ExtremeXOS image, and notifies you if it has been compromised or not (error is reported in the Syslog).
To view the status and configuration of the image integrity check, use the show switch management command.
The following example enables the ExtremeXOS image integrity check:
# configure switch integrity-check image on
This command was first available in ExtremeXOS 31.1.
This command is available on ExtremeSwitching X435, X440-G2, X450-G2, X460-G2, X465, X590, X620, X670-G2, X690, X695, X870, 5420, and 5520 series switches.
