hostname (tpvm mode)

Configures the Hostname for the TPVM instance.

Syntax

hostname <hostname>

no hostname

The default Hostname is tpvm.

TPVM Configuration mode

The length of the Hostname should be between 1 to 64 characters. The starting letter should be an alphabet.

The allowed characters are alphabets (a-z/A-Z), numbers(0-9), “.”(dot), “-“(hyphen) and “_”(underscore).

Example to update the hostname in TPVM

SLX (config-tpvm-TPVM)# hostname mytpvm

This example resets hostname configuration in TPVM to the default.

SLX (config-tpvm-TPVM)# no hostname
