User Profiles

User Profiles

View, add, sort, select, modify, clone, and delete user profile objects.

Navigation

Navigate using the tab icons. Hover over an icon to see the name of the tab.

Configure > Common Objects > Policy > User Profiles

To configure a user profile, see User Profile Security Settings.

View User Profiles

The User Profile table displays the following information for the user profiles in your network:

Add a New User Profile

You can add a new user profile here, or from inside the network policy configuration workflow. To add a new user profile here, select Add. In the New User Profile panel, enter the following information:

Name: Enter a name for this user profile.

Connect to VLAN: Choose a VLAN for this user profile. For a list of available VLANs, select .

Security: See User Profile Security Settings.

Traffic Tunneling: See GRE Traffic Tunneling.

QoS: See User Profile QoS Settings.

Availability Schedule: See User Profile SSID Availability Schedules.

Client SLA: See Client SLA Settings.

Data/Time Limit: See Access Restriction Settings.

URL Filtering: See User Profile URL Filtering.

When you are done, select Save User Profile.

Modify a User Profile

To make changes to an existing user profile, select the check box next to the profile name and select . Make any changes, and then select Save User Profile.

Clone a User Profile

You can add a new object or profile by cloning an existing object or profile and then renaming it. Select the check box for the object or profile that you want to clone and then select . Enter the new name and then select Clone.

Remove One or More User Profiles

You can remove a single user profile or multiple user profiles at the same time.

To remove a single profile, select the check box for that profile, and then select and confirm the deletion.

To remove multiple profiles at the same time, first select the check boxes for the profiles that you want to remove with one of the following multiselection methods:

Note

You can use the above methods in combination. For example, you can shift-select to select several contiguous profiles, and then select check boxes of other noncontiguous profiles.
