Virtual Appliance Setup 1: Configure Organization and User Information

Step 1. Organization and User Information

Enter the administrator details and licensing information:

Organization Details

Organization Name: Enter your company name. It can contain up to 31 characters.

Industry: Select the type of business.

Address: Enter your company address.

Admin User Information

Name: Enter a name for the super administrator.

This person will have full read-write privileges for all IQ Virtual Appliance services. The name can contain up to 128 characters.

Email Address: Enter the email address for the administrator for future reference in case you need to contact them for some reason. The admin enters this address in the Username field when logging in to the IQ Virtual Appliance GUI. The email address can contain up to 64 characters.

Alternate Email Address: Enter another email address for the administrator to be used for reference only. This is not an alternate login name for the GUI.

Licensing Information

Enter Entitlement Key: To enter an entitlement key for your permanent license, first make sure that IQ Virtual Appliance has access to the public network so that it can access the Extreme Networks license server. Then copy the entitlement key from the email you received from Extreme Networks and paste it in the Enter Entitlement Key field.

Continue for 30 day trial without a key: You can choose to bypass entering an entitlement key during your initial log in and instead use IQ Virtual Appliance for a 30-day trial period until the evaluation license expires.

Terms & Privacy

Terms & Privacy: Select the check box to accept the terms of use and privacy policy.

Select Save & Next to continue to Step 2 of the IQ Virtual Appliance setup workflow.
