Protocol Independent Multicast Multi-switch LAG support on User-created Virtual RoutersNEW!

Version 33.3.1 adds Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) Multi-switch LAG (MLAG) support on User-created VRs. This enhancement adds support for the following features:

IPv4 PIM-Sparse Mode (SM) on MLAG on user-created VRs.
IPv4 PIM-Dense Mode (DM) on MLAG on user-created VRs.

The VR name must be same on both MLAG peers for PIM MLAG to work.

Supported Platforms

All platforms that support PIM MLAG.

Limitations

This following features are not supported with this enhancement:

PIM snooping on MLAG on user-created VRs.
IPv6 PIM features on MLAG on user-created VRs.
PIM RP cannot be one of the MLAG peers.
RP reachability of one MLAG peer cannot be through the other MLAG peers.
