| EXOS-37508 | Switches running previous ExtremeXOS versions can't be cloned to version 33.3.1.
Please follow the workaround mentioned below for respective cloning use case: Workaround: Standalone to USB: Install the provided platform-specific cloning XMOD in both primary and secondary partitions using the following CLI commands before cloning to version 33.3.1: install image /usr/local/ext/<platform specific xmod> install image /usr/local/ext/<platform specific xmod>secondary Example: X435-8P-2T-W.5 # install image /usr/local/ext/summitlite_arm-clone-1.2.3.3.xmod X435-8P-2T-W.5 # install image /usr/local/ext/summitlite_arm-clone-1.2.3.3.xmod secondary Standalone to standalone: Upgrade the switch to version 33.3.1 in both partitions before cloning the switch. Standalone to stack (ZTP Stacking): Upgrade the switch to version 33.3.1 in both partitions before replacing or adding a node to a stack running version 33.3.1. |
