Universal HW AP4xx*C Series
IntroductionNEW!
WiNG 7.6.2 supports various universal hardware (UAPs) AP4xx*C. These access points can be
deployed either as cloud access points or as on-prem access points. Universal access
points allows the access points to switch back and forth between the two modes.
When deployed as a cloud access point, it will work with
ExtremeCloud IQ (XIQ). When deployed as an on-prem access point, it can
work with either WiNG controller in distributed mode or XCC in campus
mode.

Note
UAPs out-of-box will search for adoption by XIQ. The access point
must be connected to networks with internet access and an XIQ
account.
