Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) allows a single physical NIC to appear as multiple
physical NICs. All NICs in the VM must be tagged to the appropriate VLAN.
The two SR-IOV functions are as follows:
Physical Function (PF) - Physical Ethernet
controller that supports SR-IOV
Virtual Function (VF) - Virtual device created
from a physical Ethernet controller
