IS-IS

IS-IS allows peer-to-peer authentication or client-to-server authentication.

To authorize an authentication, use commands such as the following to configure shared secret keys for IS-IS:

device(config)# auth-mode md5 level-1

device(config)# auth-key jdoepass level-1
